The Brown Club of Southwest Florida is
organized to provide Brunonians in the area with ongoing
opportunities to connect with Brown friends, Brown University, and
have some fun at the series of events that are held annually.
Our club is open to alums, parents and grandparents of alums,
spouses, and friends of Brown. If you'd like to join, you can
download an application after you click on Membership Directory
link at left.
Whether you are in Florida full-time or just seasonally, we
welcome your participation in our activities. We try to keep our
members apprised of recent events at the University, visits from
faculty and administration, and ways you can connect with your
community of Brunonians. We invite you to view a list of the
Events planned for this year and to view
Photos of recent events
through this website.
One of the most important roles the Brown Club has is getting
the word out about Brown to our local high schools. Members of our
club participate in the BASC program through which local high
school students are made aware of Brown’s opportunities and
conduct interviews with applicants on behalf of the Admissions
office. Because of the distance to Providence from Naples and the
selectivity of admissions at Brown, we often have to work with
school guidance departments to identify prospective candidates and
then encourage the students to apply.
If you have any questions that you would like answered, please
contact us through this website and we will be in touch with you.

The top candidate from Ft. Myers High School International Baccalaureate program, Efe Cudjoe, summa cum laude, former class president, All State track, winner in 200 and 400 meters...will be attending Brown in the Fall.
The members of the Brown University Club of Southwest Florida congratulate Efe.
